Positive Work Environment

What does it mean to create a positive work environment?

The best of intentions sometimes results in unintended consequences. The same goes for creating a positive work environment.

I meet well-intentioned managers and business owners that implement strategies based on a book or course. They think that if an “expert” told them to do it, they should implement it.

Here’s the problem – it may not be authentic to the culture of the business.

What many do not realize is that there are many paths to creating a positive work environment. What may be “right” for your organization may not be what is “right” for others.

There are many ways to do business that fall in the realm of legal. Parsing out what is good and what is best for your team is a critical step.

Be wary of the practitioner that gives you hard and fast rules for your business (excluding legal issues, of course).
